Originally published at Writer's Blog. Please leave any comments there. As it turns out, I'm not the only one who's bugged about Heroes going on extended hiatus again. It seems that viewers are all a bit annoyed at the way our favorite TV shows are being handled with their scheduling. From the viewers' perspective, breaking up TV show broadcasts is suicide - it's a good way to lose viewers and have a show give itself virtual hari kari. Too many breaks and we get disgusted, move on to other things that we can watch, things that more consistency and constancy in their broadcast schedules.
Of course, the solution proposed in the article linked above is certainly viable - just wait for Heroes to come out on DVD and watch it all en masse. Works for me. Tags: commentary, speculative fiction
